Amazing win! I lost the video feed in the last minute, saw the final score in live stats, and went to bed thinking we had lost another close one. Needless, to say, reading this thread this morning has made my day!

Buzzer beating winners like this are really rare. I can only remember a few in the 38 years I have been following LU (and LBC) hoops. Freddie Morgan's half-courter sticks out, along with an OT 3 by Mike Minette, and I believe Larry Jackson had one against CCU. I'm sure there are others, but not many. This was a special moment. Congrats to Antwan and the team!

This is Antwan's second appearance on the Top 10 in about a year if Im not mistaken and the second time he has factored in a buzzer beater as well. How bout the massive emotional shift last night from disappointment at a gutwrenching loss (and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory as jbock originally noted) to joy and excitement at making Sportscenter and getting a huge win that could set off a big end of season run

If you look back to our run in 2004, we closed the year (including the Big South tournament) winning 11 of 13. we've now won 5 of 8 and are playing very good basketball.

It's so funny if you hit the pause button right after Burrus hits the shot, from the opposite court angle, pause and look at the expression on the CSU band's faces. It's priceless. I have a picture but I can't figure out how to get it on here.

I always rewind clips like this to see fan reaction. the band guy was hilarious and it looks like when antwan was "galloping" down the sideline a chuck south student was about to step out like he wanted a piece of burrus. great finish and a nice win for the flames!
