Do you ever notice racists use "code language"? Cause when you call Obama a bad president, you must be using subliminal messages to the klan.
Okay, I totally thread jacked this thing. Carry on... (end rant)
It had nothing to do with blacks, moreso the cultural insensitivity displayed towards Asians. I agree with the fact that government overspending benefits China, but the way he highlighted using stereotypes was not a good political move.
At what point can we just stop caring who's offended by things? To their credit the asians don't really care.
Also, I knew the ad had nothing to do with blacks, but it's the best known for so-called leaders who would be out of a job if there wasn't racism. Which of course, isnt fair to individual blacks who don't need some goofy leader to speak for them.
Stereotypes are funny because they're true. Demographics show if you add twang instruments to a commercial, whites are more likely to buy your product. In the same way, add a rhythm, and blacks will more likely buy your product. Does pointing out about Asian drivers make it any less true? Or how about that God made each distinct race with characteristics that we can all enjoy a little humor over. Including honky crackers.
