Or a successful hedge fund manager and former governor?
I think anyone would be better at this point than what we have. All of these guys have shown an ability at one point or another to reform, except Santorum (at least as far as I know).

What I am saying is that when it comes to reforming government by applying "business principles" that Purple mentioned in his previous post, then how would Trump not be a solid choice based solely on his knowledge of said principles.

I don't want to steal your thunder and claim I knew who Herman Cain was before you did, but I've known of him for quite some time. You aren't the only person who listens to talk radio. He was a fill-in for Boortz all the time. Furthermore, I never supported Cain for president. Anytime he spoke about foreign policy issues he was clueless, and it was too noticeable. Don't assume so much... you know what they say happens about people who do that.
I'm not gonna lie I have no idea why I went on that tangent. Sorry Humble.

I actually dont doubt for a second you worked in politics bc you are a big enough of (a word im not going to say) that you fit perfectly in politics.

Also i do believe every single one of the people on here who hate Trump have told you why. But continue your agrument that a 12 time elected congressmen and a doctor is a complete idiot. And for God sake please keep voting establishment. It really seems to be working out
Lot's of successful people are told to go home by unsuccessful people. Why? The unsuccessful one wants a chance.

I don't want a 12 time elected congressman or a doctor running my country. Any congressman who has been in that long, doesn't care about the country's well being, he's more concerned with his bank account and social status (probably the reason why he isn't going to withdrawal until the convention).
Yeah Paul sure is a man concerned about his bank account. I mean the man opted out of a Congressional penssion plan when he retires and every year returns his check to the Treasury bc he knows he doesnt need it (Rand just returned half of the money given to him for office supplies). Also this is the man willing to cut his salary if he were put into office. But your right he really does only care about the money!!!

But Sweat i would like to thank you for bringing Mitt and Paul supporters together on this board. We now all have a common goal of laughing at you. Thank you so much

Well in case you don't notice, before ever criticzing Mittens, you must first swear that you will vote for Mittens over Obama. Just watch FOX news!

I'm simplifying a bit, but I believe Iran is nothing but a bunch of saber rattling fanatical inbreds who Israel would extinguish in 43 seconds.

Sorry, I don't believe the end is near. And I don't take for the truth every word Iran says. We'll just have to agree to disagree Humble. I used to be on your side about the War on Terror.

I worked for a Constitutional Law firm at one point (circa 2005) and we caught WND in a doozy. One of their "authors" was simply doing a cut and paste job from Washington Post articles and waiting a few months to publish them under his own name on the WND site. We contacted them and they couldn't have cared less that they had someone who was literally stealing every word he was printing. One email to WaPo and that was the end of that particular writer for WND.

Frankly I think Israel could bomb them back to the stone age if Iran gave them a reason to

Exactly. So why do we automatically assume the United States has to help them? I know the real answer why.

Humble, I hope you don't take it the wrong way my friend. I come off as talking about you, but I don't mean that, I just have a bad tendency to use second person when I shouldn't. Hopefully you understand I mean it dipomatically, I just just love discussing politics and policy. :D

Right. And that's why Iran will never do so, unless they're ready to commit national suicide. The human mind is a very individualistic thing, very few will sacrifice their lives for a cause. Try getting your best friend for years, and trust as you fall backwards that your friend will catch you. Most people wouldn't.

(to everyone else) In the same way, Iran will not sacrifice the existence of their nation for one attack on Israel or the United States. Just like when North Korea throws a tantrum when they need more rice, Iran is just desperate for attention. Of course unless you listen to Glenn Beck, and believe the conspiracy stuff.

I will concede this one point, if you think they truly think their higher calling is extinction for an attack on America, then you do have a point. But as for me, they are but little children throwing a fit, whose parents will spank them royally if they keep crying.

You did see they launched a small satellite today didn't you? Since 1979 I've been more worried about Iran then Iraq. There is a reason we chose sides in the Iran/Iraq war

I also have to say, I've about had enough of Gingrich and Santorum playing Democrat class warfare games to attack Mittens.

I do agree that we shouldn't dictate Israel's foreign policy. I also think that when their interest and our interect, like this, we should help them
Iran will not do anything to overtly provoke us, but they will keep picking away.

According to CNN Ron Paul has 10 delegates and Santorum has 8.
I'm sure Lew is excited! Paul is doing the best he can with what he has. Newt is just throwing money around he doesn't have and will burn out because of it. Paul's guerrilla tactics give him a great shot of making it to the convention.

CNN counted Iowa's delegates, whom none were pledged to actually support the candidate who won them on caucus night. They are actually electing the delegates at the county convention level.

So that's the reason for the discrepancy.

So AGAIN Newt is wrong. Romney is at 42%. Newt / Romney combine for 38%. I thought he said that the combined vote totals of the 'conservatives' would be higher then Romneys :dontgetit oops.
Love to see Paul finish second here and win Maine. He would be more entertaining and enlightening them Newt or Santorum.
Willard's campaign theme song should be White and Nerdy by Weird Al!

EDIT: Willard does so much better and seems much more comfortable going after Pres Obama then he does Newt or Santorum
