Kacere's kick offs were absolutely killing us at the end last year giving the other team practically midfield field position every time. So unless he's improved that aspect drastically over the offseason, we certainly can't afford to have him kicking off. It was killing the D.

Thank you all for the support over the years. As far as Kacere and kickoffs, there were some games where we had some schemes dialed up. As the season progressed--he improved. He has the leg to get the deep ball inside the 5, just a matter of his mental game prep/ technique being a priority. We will see what happens...

WOW this kid is Beast. We needed him last year when We Lost 2 of the Most (probably for an FCS PLayoff BID?) important Games to JMU and Lehigh by only 3 Points!!

Thanks! Lunsford is a GREAT kicker..shouldn't have any issues this season...just has to play under the pressure and circumstances then EXECUTE...I say he has a great career here

HA True. But if this kids able to kick 58 yard FG's his first year at LU thats pretty sick. We Did have a good kicker last year. This kid looks like he could be the next Janikowski LOL ....Hopefully he doesnt like to sip the coolaid though.
