It does burn to lose to Longwood actually. I hate when we lose to Longwood in anything and don't think it should happen in any sport on a regular basis.

I mean, we already have Radford. I think Longwood overall is a better program, and comparable to much of the rest of the conference.

No, I'm hung up on my alma mater and what it can do to improve itself. Joining the BSC is tremendously beneficial move for the school I love. I'm sorry I take offense when someone ignorantly calls my school "irrelevant" b/c they don't have a football program and a 10,000 seat arena. We will be very relevant in the Big South and the school could not be on a better trajectory right now. Longwood has totally transformed from what it was academically, athletically, and campus-wise from what it was 10 years ago.

If someone was making just as ignorant comments about my grad school alma mater, I'd stand up an react the exact same way. A university is more than just a football program or a basketball arena. As a tremendously proud Liberty alumni, you should know that more than anyone.

Please explain to me how I "pretend" to be a Liberty fan? I have a graduates degree FROM LIBERTY. I support Liberty fully in football (and track b/c of my sister being a student-athlete). For everything else Longwood is my #1 allegiance. I spent FOUR years there in contrast to a single year.

I offered you this before and I'll do it again. I'll meet you anywhere in Richmond or you can swing by my house (I live right near UofR). You can have all my Liberty football gear, shirts, hats, whatever... I obviously haven't hit your criteria for being a Liberty football fan, so I'm really not worthy. I'd rather you have the gear since I'm merely pretending b/c I get bored on Saturdays in the fall. I apologize for incorporating you as a pawn in this elaborate charade that I've been living.

This is just life...new kids at school get picked on...not sure theres any hate or anything....at least not from my point of view. I mean seriously, we play in high school gyms already....I just think most peoples take on you guys joining is Longwoon has everything to gain from this but in the foreseeable future the BSC has nothing....other than filling in for a couple of teams that are about to bolt.

Kind of a counterproductive statement when I also have a degree from Liberty. Do you really want to go through both school's academic resumes?
