Good thing I guess. How did it get that way anyway?
jbock13 wrote:Oh, but then again, because the somehow somewhere the Bible says so, Israel should be adopted as our 51'st state (or if you're Obama, 58'th).
Oh that's right, those Israeli made F-16s is how they dominate militarily. They don't need our help.

So, Iran doesn't really know how to make a nuke, but at the same time are getting help from China and Russia. And, they won't be able to deliver it, yet, it doesn't really take a missile to cause nuclear destruction. Who are Iran's allies? From my ignorant eyes, it appears to be China, Russia, Syria, and terrorist organizations. Wouldn't take much for a nuke to get to someone who intends harm to the US, or any of our allies. There's a reason Israel has a strong national defense, they don't have a choice.

But if we would just leave, all this would go away!

Mossad chief Tamir Pardo told a gathering of about 100 Israeli ambassadors that, while Iran’s nuclear program does constitute a threat and Israel will continue to do covert work to thwart Iran’s nuclear ambitions (hand-in-hand with the U.S.), an Iranian nuclear weapon would not necessarily pose an “existential threat” to the Jewish State.

I take this over FF. sorry guys. This is a polarizing issue and no one is going to switch positions so we should all just give it up and agree to disagree

Look, little secret is this. Ron Paul supporters know he won't win. They support him to make our statement, that the Republican Party has lost its principles.

Great showing by Newt. I just don't see him being able to maintain it. I wonder if he is on the other state ballots? He isn't on VA. Plus, I'm not convinced he go long without another blow up.

he has to win Florida to continue...SC win will help, but I am pretty sure Florida is Mitt's to lose.

Also, I swear I saw the predictions having Newt win SC up until NH results were in, so tonight Fox talking about this huge win is nothing but their bias showing through.

Haha Cain still got 1.07% of the vote!

I think the South is Gingrich's stronghold. But what will be interesting to see is how well be can play on Mitt's home court (the west and northeast).

I still contend Mitt will not win the nomination.

I am a Ron Paul supporter and will vote for him, but if I were a betting man it would be Romney. Too much baggage for Newt to be the nominee, and I think he will wear down soon enough.

Oh, I know this. I also support the movement by his supporters. What I don't agree with is his policies, and what I can't stand is the people who believe that Paul has a perfect slate. Additionally, I can't stand the tactics used by the hardcore Paul supporters. These include, standing outside the Vines center during Bachman's and Perry's appearance, placing a huge banner on the bridge and the attempt at making any non-Paul supporter look like they aren't true conservatives. I'm sure that every candidate has their "crazies" but I'm just really turned off by the local Paul fanatics.

Furthermore, the Republican Party has definitely shied away from their principles but a RP win isn't going to change that. The real problem is all of the "special interest groups" that can practically decide elections. You really need someone who has no need to accept money from these groups and/or someone who has no "political" interest.

As far as my view on the primary, I think anyone can see that Mitt has this thing pretty much rapped up. FN can make this seem like a victory for Newt and in a literal sense, they're right. However, the fact that Romney took 28% in SC is more impressive than Newt's showing. Additionally, Newt won't win Florida, he has a really bad rep there. If Newt does find a way to win the primary, it's the biggest present to Obama's campaign. Because of that, I'd actually rather see Paul win versus Newt. With that said, I do think that a relatively big name will emerge as a viable Independent and I may not be talking about Trump...

Support the movement of not electing typical McCain's and such. Don't support his war views and voting record. How does that not make sense?

I'm hearing unconfirmed rumors that if Newt were to win the nomination, he will pick his wife to be VP so they can be beside each other in every camera shot.
