Christian LeMay a highly recruited QB out of Charlotte is a freshman at UGA.

Currently, he is denying the rumors he is considering transferring. However, the success of UGA's Aaron Murray this year means that he would be 3rd string and he doesnt want to wait. Also, probably wouldnt go FBS because of the lost year of eligibility. He grew up a UGA fan but made it clear that Mark Richt's religious views played a role in his recruitment. So, maybe LU can get a look.

Certainly something to watch. You can scratch Case McCoy off the list. He's sticking in Austin.

I'm wondering if Drew Allen is going to transfer now. I think UTSA would be a logical destination, but who knows...

A lot of this comes down to whether they are cool with sitting out for up to 20 months before they can get back on the field. That is an eternity to an 19-year-old. That's why FCS transfers make so much sense to kids. UTSA would be attractive since it is a situation where somebody could walk in and start right away. But since it is FBS, it faces same hurdles as other BCS schools. Unless a kid takes the Cam Newton route ...

They are an FBS transitional school this coming year allowing them to be a counter for bowl qualification but also making it difficult for them to obtain FBS transfers.

They have 4 FCS schools on their schedule this year, so it would take a pretty amazing feat to go to a bowl game though, haha.

Have you heard anything about Allen in Big 12 country?

Not a word. I get the impression he might ride it out in Norman another year when he could transfer out for senior season in FBS after graduating.

Then again, SumItUp probably is more on top of this than I am.
