I wish we would use that uniform full time, and not just for special occasions; of course, if Coach Gill wants to go with more of a Nebraska look, I'm certainly okay with that--he's the boss!

Ew, these look like a hazmat spill. What happened to those computer edited uniforms that were supposed to look like Nike Pro Combat unis? They had flames going down the side and the helmet was red with LU on the sides in blue.

Yeah. I never care for the NFL throw back uni's either. I prefer the more modern, flashy look.

What's the book store going to do with the 100's of "mini helmets" (blue with the red stripes) That everyone was clamoring for last year if we keep changing? We had a lot of talent this past year and we decided to get goofy with all the uniform and helmet changes and it didn't have us play any better IMHO

Exactly, I was a punter, so I know you have to look good. That pro combat looks even cheaper than the "flames" we had on the jerseys when I was there. As far as the whole Eric Green era look...that was the whole point of me starting this thread was to get AWAY from the white helmet. Our main jersey should be red, but with navy blue helmets

Those Eric Green helmets were last minute replacements when our slick-looking silver helmwta were washed down the James River by flooding on Treasure Island. Apparently somebody intentionally chose them last season.
