If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

Are you kidding? Look I'm a homer but nobody ever thought the BE was one of the best.
You don't remember that year when all three teams had legitimate shots at the national championship game? The BE ended with like 4 or 5 ranked teams. It only happened for that one year. I thought it was 2008 but apparently it was 2006. I recall several times it being referred to as the 3rd or 4th best conference in the country. It was definitely better than the ACC, Big 12 and probably the Pac-10 that year. All I'm saying is that bringing up a game that happened 4 years ago doesn't prove anything. I honestly doubt WVU wins more than 8 or 9 games next year.

For Purple, Pbow, Jbock, and anyone else who calls themselves an 'Eer (copied and pasted from my old WV shop teacher's Facebook):

Twas the night b4 the Orange Bowl, and all thru the land
All the sportcasters said, a chance we did not stand
Clemson will destroy them, their guys arent so great
And one didnt even know, that we were a state.

... ... The fans they were nestled, all snug in the stands
Cheering along, with the Mountaineer band
And ma in her jammies, and me in my wvu cap
Sat in front on the TV, with a bowl of chips in my lap

Then out on the field, there arose such a clatter
I turned up the sound, to see what was a matter
Touchdown, touchdown, and then a few more
They scored 10 in all, for a 70 score

The QB in charge, was so lively and quick
I knew in a moment, it must be Geno Smith
More rapid than eagles, the passes they came
Then he scrambled and pointed and called them by name

Now Irvin, now Bailey, now Buie, now Alston
On Cook, on Brown, on Milhouse, and Austin
Tightrope the sideline, now reach for that score
We'll make history tonight, noones done this before

The coach praised his players, the fans stayed for hours
Dana still wet, from his Gatorade shower
He turned with a jerk, to his team gave a whistle
Up I-95 they flew like a missile.

But I heard him exclaim, as he rode out of sight
The couches are burning, In Mo-Town tonight.
