Whose in the Super Bowl? Whose out early?

I've got the Patriots against the Saints and I think Houston and Denver will be early outs.

haha, if the Broncos make it to the AFC championship, I'll buy a Tebow jersey and make my profile picture of me wearing it.

I have the team of childhood coming to town Saturday to battle the team I follow now. Since Kenny Anderson, Boobie Clark & Isaac Curtis aren't walking into Reliant Stadium, I feel good donning my Texans jersey this weekend. If Andy Dalton were to use his Houston homecoming to pull off the upset, I'd be happy to pull out my old Ickey Woods jersey the following week.

What do you think of Houston's chances without Schaub? I honestly have been a big fan of them all year. It's just hard for me to think that they're going far without him.

Patriots/Packers

Packers win because their defense is better

I know its not a risky pick, but I don't see how else it could go any other way

With that said I pray to God that Denver makes it to the AFC championship...that would be amazing! I am now officially cheering for Denver, thanks CJ for giving me a rooting interest! :D

AFC Wild Card
Bengals vs. Texans Bengals (Sorry Sly...I do not buy Jake Delhomme taking them to the promised land)
Steelers vs. Broncos Steelers

NFC Wildcard
Saints vs. Lions Saints (Stafford cant get in two straight shootouts...)
Giants vs. Falcons Giants (I dont buy the Falcons as a team that can make a run to Indy)

AFC Divisional
Bengals vs. Patriots Patriots...Welker and Gronkowski show (with guest appearances by Chad Ochocinco and Deion Branch)
Ravens vs. Steelers Ravens Without Mendenhall Steelers will have trouble running the ball

NFC Divisional
Packers vs. Giants Packers Eli and Aaron will put on a show for the people but Green Bay pulls it out
49ers vs. Saints Saints. I dont think New Orleans is falling for that hideout play like St Louis did

AFC Championship
Patriots vs. Ravens Ravens This one could go either way but I think the Patriots defense wont have any more answers

NFC Championship
Packers vs. Saints Packers I hope they have some spares bulbs for the scoreboard...they may blow out a few in this one

Super Bowl
Packers vs. Ravens Packers 35-32 Another action packed February night in Indianapolis and Rodgers cements his legendary status with a late TD to win his second title

The Packers D is ranked 31st...so it's not as good as people think.

New England has been pretty much bend but dont break all year, So has the Packers. I think the Packers have a better chance of going all the way though. They dont have to deal with a defense that can stay with all their weapons (including getting Greg Jennings back for the playoffs)

I'd agree. I just don't like picking against Belichick or Brady. I also think the Saints are out to prove something again and Brees looks as gs good as ever. It's going to be an entertaining super bowl no matter which of those teams get in. I also think Atlanta has a good shot to take the NFC.

WILD CARD
texans beat bengals- arian foster has a big game, dalton will make a rookie mistake and delhomme will manage the game well enough for a win
steelers beat broncos-low scoring, but the steelers will have enough
saints beat lions- shootout, but experience wins
giants beat falcons- Eli is playing well, and the Giants D will get to matt ryan

DIVISIONAL
steelers beat patriots- steelers have the blueprint to beat the pats like they did earlier this season, despite the injuries. Steelers will stretch out the weak Pats secondary
ravens beat texans- ravens D will harass whomever is the QB
packers beat giants-will be a close game, but a manning mistake will do in the G-Men
saints beat 49ers- niners cant score TD's. end of story

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
ravens beat steelers- hate to say it but ravens finally get over the hump. Shaun Suisham misses a couple of FG's to cost the steelers.
packers beat saints- shootout is all i can say. tossup, but slight edge to the pack.

SUPER BOWL
ravens beat packers- ravens D will get to Aaron Rodgers and he will make a mistake that will cost them the game

i really think all of the games could be really close. Looking forward to an exciting playoffs!

Here's all of my picks:

Bengals beat Texans - Being without Schuab is going to be too much for Houston. Not to mention, I think this Andy Dalton kid has a nice arm.

Steelers over the Broncos - I'd love to see Tebow do great because of the message that he sends but I just can't pick against Pittsburgh here. This is one of the most successful NFL dynasties and Mike Tomlin isn't going to be fooled by a run first QB.

Saints beat the Lions - This will likely be the best wildcard game. Detroit is good enough to beat anyone but the Saints are playing like the best team in the NFL right now. I expect Detroit to get off to a good start but Drew Brees in the fourth will be the difference.

Falcons beat Giants - On paper this is an easy pick, however, the Giants are one of the best playoff teams. Eli Manning will be out to prove his last name once again and I think the Giants D is going to be really hard on Ryan. With that said, Julio Jones makes a name for himself in this game as one of the best WR's in the NFL. I can't pick against Atl in this one.

Divisional

Patriots beat Steelers - This will be the best coached game in the playoffs. The Steelers D knows Brady but I think Brady will pick them apart. Pittsburgh is a little banged up and I think NE ends the playoff losing skid here.

Ravens beat Bengals - The Ravens are big in games that matter but terrible against bad teams. If they overlook Cincy, Dalton and AJ Green will have a field day. I don't like picking for a team to overlook someone in playoffs, have to go with the more talented Ravens.

Falcons beat Packers - I think that I might be a little crazy making this pick but I think Green Bay will just come out flat in this game. Again, Julio Jones and Matt Ryan against a statistically terrible defense? It's going to be a good game but I think the Falcons put away Green Bay late.

Saints beat SF - Harbaugh is probably the 3rd or 4th best coach in the league but Alex Smith is still bad. Drew Brees loves a challenge and he'll give his best against a stingy 49ER's defense.

Conference Championships

Patriots beat Ravens - I really don't like this prediction but I would hate it if I picked Baltimore here. Joe Flacco isn't a great QB and the Pat's defensive issues won't be a problem. Instead Brady has another stellar performance and Pats win by 10.

Saints beat Falcons - The Saints are arguably the best team in the 4th quarter and they seem to have Atlanta's number. It's going to be close but Brees finds a way to win again.

Super Bowl - Saints are back. Although I love Brady and Belichik the most complete team wins the SB. New Orleans is one of those teams where it's really hard to find anything wrong with, we know the problems with NE. I think Brees and the Saints win it by a couple TD's

Guys, I don't expect Delhomme to play Saturday. TJ is starting along with Arian & Andre.

I covered Andy when he was in high school here in Houston before I stepped away from full-time TV. The kid has always been close to unflappable so I doubt he folds like a typical rookie QB in his first playoff game.

I expect a low-scoring contest with the Texans D shutting down Ced & Co.

I'm starting to get a little bit weary of the Broncos/Steelers game. Pittsburgh is really banged up and Denver will be playing with an edge. Also, Pittsburgh hasn't been great on the road this year. Tebow may get a playoff win after all.

I'd buy your jersey early because the price is going to be going up on eBay after he wins! :D

The Elite Eight is now set. And as the Tebow talk dominates everything else, personally I am jazzed to see what the Texans can do Sunday in Baltimore. If the Texans can avoid many turnovers, I think it could be a very interesting game.

cjsweat - 1 out of 4 isn't horrible ... if you are slick-fielding Dominican shortstop.

smoothie - The only game you missed was the only one you cared about this week.

Bengal Mafia - If the Cincy run defense can ever get figured out ... watch out. Look how quickly the Texans turned the corner in that department in one year.

Saints-Ravens in the Super Bowl.
Saints are on such a roll. The Lions played their butts off last night but couldn't stop the Saints, and I'm not sure anyone can. The Packers have a chance to outscore them.
Haize and flamehunter, I'll go with you guys and pull for the Broncos even though I don't care much for Fox. I keep waiting for the gum to fly out of his mouth while he's yapping and hit somebody in the eye. But have got to pull for Tebow. He was back at it today. That was fun to watch. Good for him.
