I think it's dumb for a future NFL pro-bowler to have to pretend that he's smart enough to be in college. Sure a lot of guys are smart enough, but what about someone who isn't? You can't get to the NFL without playing some type of college ball (cue BJ with some stupid example of someone who did that) but not everybody is college material. Why don't they have majors for people who plan to be professional athletes? It could include classes like, personal finance, anatomy, kinesiology, coaching, contract law, etc. Overview type classes that would help some of these guys out. We could all stop pretending that these guys are in a 3 year sociology program.
