i've really been impressed with pat and the other players that were interviewed. I was slightly critical of him after the twitter episode after lehigh but i've been very impressed with the composure and wording he used when being interviewd about a tough subject. I've seen he and Des with coach at baseball games several times so I'm sure he feels betrayed right now and still managed to say what he felt without being under-handed.

Pat has been probably one of the classiest guys on and off the field and this is a well deserved honor (and certainly not one to be downplayed). I think he has a very bright future ahead. When I saw the announcement this commercial came to mind:
