I'm sorry, this is inexcusable. We should at the least be competitive with the likes of UVA. Now we are slowly degrading into a typical, even subpar mid-major team. I'm not okay with that. We can, I should be so much more.

this is a downward trend? One season does not a trend make jbock. Now ODU...that is a downward trend. What is going on here is not a trend...not by a longshot...tough year yes but certainly not a trend.

Noticing a real disparity in talent and athleticism/quickness. We're looking more like a middle of the road BSC team right now. We have starters who are best suited to be role players with limited minutes. UVAs defense was stifling but a lot of our TOs were inexcusable and showed a lack of concentration and judgement (maybe talent). We lack the quickness to put any defensive pressure on teams. We played zone all night and UVA shredded it all night with about 15 layups! Teams we're facing are much more athletic, quicker and more aggressive. UVA was picked to finish last in ACC preseason!

We have to rely on poor shooting on their end and rebounds on our end. We lose most 50-50 balls. Look at the steals UVA had and the ones we had. This is going to be a long basketball season for the men and women but I'm all in and will continue to offer support.

Agree that this is a bad year but who was the coach when we played Kentucky? Every program has down years, it doesn't mean you fire someone as successful as Green for a couple down seasons.

We played Kentucky in March 2010. You really are calling basically 1 season and a small part of a second a "trend"? Like I said, ODU is in a downward trend. Ours isnt a trend at this point. Are we having a rough go of things...certainly, but we're not out yet (although in your mind we are jbock). As 09 said, Im glad youre not the one making hiring/firing decisions at this point

Let me just say I'm not the only one who feels this way. Green is on the decline. I'm sorry if it's not what you want to hear, but look at our offensive numbers. How many times have we scored less than 15 points in one half? How can you even justify such a pathetic waste of talent?
