Im sorry that they didnt consult with the membership of FlameFans to come up with a flashier theme (and Id be careful, considering we dont know if there is even a positive test), but "Back to Basics" sounds like a pretty good concept. Sounds to me like they are going back to the fundamentals (which were certainly lacking many times this year, especially on defense)

Your screen name is a complete contradiction to ALL your posts. How can you even call yourself a "flames fan" when it is obvious they will never live up to you standards? Make me a liar and post 1 (one) thing positive. I will glady apologize publicly on this board.

I, among many others, was very dissaponted with the result of the championship game. I believe the reason we lost key games, and had the close than should be wins waas because of defensive COACHING ( no adjustments - EVER) There were many defensive standousts, Nick Sigmond for example, but there was WAY too much talent that was not utilized.

I would look for Rocco to make changes with Defensive Staff very soon, maybe today, and I, for one, would like to see a DC change. Nothing personal, it would do the team and the guy a favor, as he has never seemed happy here. I may be wrong, I am the least of the posters here, but I'm just sayin...

By the way, if Rocco leaves, to Ole Miss, many of you would be thrilled.

Rocco's not the only one that can lead us. No way, no how. There are tons of highly qualified coaches out there who would love to coach here.

Purple, I guess you are right about the cult leader syndrome. I don't mean to come across that way. I just know the story of how Rocco was hired and what Jerry was looking for. It would be hard to find someone with Roccos talent, and his resume, in my opinion, that would buy in to the Liberty Way.

That's fair. And I appreciate the non excitable tone. I think it is fair to say it would be difficult to find someone with a resume and talent to come into Liberty but it is noe impossible and no different then any other athletic program.

To be a wet blanket there are a lot of factors about Rocco's hiring that are 'intersting'.
