Your team definitely picked a good time to pick it up...you made some good moves too. I needed this week in the worst way because I was on a bit of a skid and ended up with Rocco's Tacos nipping right at my heels (we are actually tied on record but I hold the first tiebreaker). Im gonna need a win next week to lock up the third seed and possibly a promotion spot depending on what the final decision is in that regard.

my other league, I started 0-5 and haven't lost since and should win my last 2 games to claim the 4th playoff spot, which I'm pretty pumped about in a 16 team league

Nice comeback! What's it like to play in a 16-team league? I'm doing a 14-teamer and it's crazy in that there are so few quality players available in the free-agent pool. An injury or two can kill you. I kind of like the challenge, though.

Its pretty awesome for the same reason, the free agent pool is so shallow its really a challenge. Some of us have been making transactions like every week, doing a lot of research and all of that, and the 5 of us who were really doing that at the beginning were all the last 5 teams until a few weeks ago when it switched for whatever reason, once more injuries started popping off, those of us who had already been making moves were set

Thanks to the Monday night results, we now have an interesting battle for the last two playoff berths. After the results roll over, DC Shannacan'ts, My Vick in a Box, 09 and Cardiac Cats will all be tied at 5-7 and Keynesian Zombies is 4-8. Keynesian Zombies, Cardiac Cats and 09 will be facing the top 3 teams in the league next week. My Vick in a Box is the top scorer of the 5 teams fighting for those positions. Could be a fun conclusion to the regular season next week.

Obviously bottom 2 of A move down
1. Regular season champ, post season champ move up
2. League champ and runner up move up
3. League champ and most points move up


Or we could promote 3, demote 1 with similar rules or we could demote anybody who is not active in A league with similar rules to above. Any ideas?

If we move two up Id go with #1 (although if regular season and postseason champ are the same, the other finalist moves up as well). I mean moving three up would benefit me naturally.

i think promote 3, demote 3 is what it should be. make the 3rd place playoff matchup mean something.

also, once the reg season is over if an owner has been found to have not touched their team the last 4 weeks, they are automatically demoted to b league if they play next year and the next best team in B league is moved up. sound fair?

Keynesian Zombies clinches a playoff berth with a win AND must have a higher final point total than at least three of the four teams ahead of them in the standings (since overall point total is the first tiebreaker)

As far as promotion/demotion, Id rather do whatever set up gets more players in A league next year. 8 teams is kind of garbage, I mean I have had Brady on my bench all but one week this year.

Drop the bottom 2, add the top 4 this year.

Next year, when the A league has 10, drop the bottom 3, then promote the #1 B-league seed plus the top 2 post season finishers.

Sly has a battle to stay ahead of jcman. The tie between Sly and I (we play with points down to the decimal, we tied 113.66 or something crazy like that) may be the margin by which the Fox remains in the A league, and sends Phins and JCman into the B league.
