The thread was locked because we already have a thread about " a new coach" and the 99.9% likelihood Mike will not be coming to LU. We have a clear divide on who likes coach rocco and who does not and the "new coach thread" clearly addresses that. Quite frankly I have been a mod on here for a long long time, and if Sly wants to open it back up he can do so, but he has given mods the access to do this. I saw zero relevance of having this thread because it is somewhat repetitive. It is certainly not about agreeing or disagreeing about your view. There are so many opposing views on here it is unreal and they have always been welcome. My apologies if it upset you. Sly is the boss so it is ultimately his call.

Way to pass the buck. I guess you were just 'following orders"! I see how it is Mr Moderator. All views are relevant until they disagree with what you think should be relevant and only the opposition that you think is relatively opposite of what you want becomes non repetitive allowed speech!

2- Maybe it's not a lack "fortitude" that keeps them from contributing, but a reluctance to participate in what so often, very quickly, turns into a toxic environment.

But from the "glass half full side", LU has great debate teams and an excellent Law school, so maybe some are here to hone their skills.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that thread was locked b/c it's obvious that just about every post you make is an attempt to troll.

What you did in this thread, was trolling gold. You somehow managed to appeal to all of the misfits on the board that feel they are discriminated against, and they have begun to rally around you. the thread was right to be locked because it was a waste of space. Simply put, Mike rocco playing QB for Liberty has no correllation to Danny being our coach. If anything, it would hurt our chances of having him if Danny was gone. It's very unlikely now with Mike's solid season, however its been clear how close the family is in all the articles i've read. There was one in the Roanoke times this week that even said Mike's first question after the FSU game was to a reporter and asked "how did liberty do.

i guess it would have been better said if i would have said that the end result isn't possible without DR leaving which is what those 2 guys wants. I'm on the fence i like Danny but i also wanna win.
