I'm thinking we'll be ranked this week. So many teams lost. We were ranked #28 in the TSN Poll, and #26, 24, 22, 20, 18, 17, and 16 all lost.

Stay tuned. Polls come out around 2pm.

I fully expect us to sit in the 20-22 slot in most fo the polls. Of course some of them had us as high as 18 last week.

But I agree that based on last week's results we should move up as should both Lehigh & JMU who were idle. Our two 3-pt losses to those schools are looking better by the minute.

It is sure starting to look like the Stony Brook game will be "the" first round playoff game for both teams ... loser goes home :football.

The success of Lehigh and JMU are making those two loses easier to live with .... to think we had three TD's called back at Lehigh and an injured FG kicker be the difference in the JMU game. If we get past SB I believe we can "advance" into the second round once in the playoffs :?:

I like flying below the radar as far as the polls go ..... I think it motivates the team.

Re: TSN poll: App State WAY overrated. #5 with 2 losses ahead of an undefeated SHSU and 2 1-loss teams :dontgetit

Towson WAY underrated. 6-1 (only loss to Maryland) this late in the season in the CAA is top 10 worthy.

W&M and Delaware still too high.

Other than that a good poll.

If Towson had the name James Madison or William & Mary on its jerseys, it would be a top 10 team.

If Maine had the name James Madison or William & Mary on its jerseys, it would be a top 5 team.

Of course, there is some decisions made to decide who gets on the field.

As much as I like to look at these polls, they don't matter right now. Even if we climb into the top 10, a loss to Stony Brook could knock us out of playoff contention. We need to just focus on winning out and then it won't matter what we're ranked.

Very much true Lang. Kinda like App St. is still at #6 even after just barely squeezing by the Citadel the week before

They were up I think 49-7 and Citadel came screaming back against them to make it as tight as it was at the end

Im aware of that jbock...I was reminded of that game when we got up 49-7 on Coastal a couple weeks ago...course we didnt let them get that close (and no Im not saying that we are on the same level as Appalachian State)

I agree, but those playoff snubs a few years back still sting a little.
