hey Beej, I got a stat for you:

Liberty is 16-2 all time against CSU.

The average score in the 18 contests is 34-15.
The two CSU wins came in 2000 and 2005 – those 2 years we had 2 total D1 wins.
Since Rocco has been here the average score is 38-12.

-Desmond Rice could become record 4-in-a-row Freshman of the Week.

-Pat Kelly needs 50 receiving yards to give Flames four active players with 1000 receiving yards

-Matt Bevins could (will?) break Big South career scoring record (currently tied with 297 pts.)

?Any more records destined to be broken soon?

Im aware of all that jc...last time we were in Charleston, we won 20-13 on a late TD and had to stop a last second scoring attempt to hold on. These guys cant fall asleep at the wheel this week. We get two more home games after this one but they cannot overlook CSU...everyone on here knows that we have thrown up on ourselves for one game in conference play the last couple years so we need to make sure that we keep our focus on the game thats in front of us. SBU we know is a big game but that does not need to be our primary focus...CSU does.

That photo was taken at halftime during homecoming. That's why you don't see any players on the field.

I attended Whitewater for a year. Great program because there's only one scholarship program in the state, the leftovers go to Whitewater, and that's a lot of leftovers to pick from. Plus a stadium near 15,000 for D3 is pretty huge.

Rocco said he did not want the Coastal game to be treated like the superbowl, so that it would decrease the possibility of a let down this week. The coaching staff is taking a wiser approach to this conference season.

That's a good mindset to have...By keeping the guys even minded last week, they didnt have their emotional amps turned up to 11 and be so cranked up that they come down off that high and flatline going into this week (which as we have seen in previous years) leads to that annual questionable loss in conference.

Bethune Cookeman just beat Norfolk State in Norfolk. I know that they're no where close to being as bad as CSU but that scares me just a bit. Anyone else afraid that that game could be the start of an upset weekend?

I highly doubt it, and Im sure a lot of the other posters on here would agree with me. Bethune is a solid program who went to the playoffs last season, so while it is an upset, I dont think its a sign of a trend toward games this weekend

Yeah, I mean I don't think it will be either. I just brought it up because every year there are about two weeks which are just filled with upsets. We really haven't had an upset week in FBS or FCS for that matter.

From a Lang tweet earlier today:
... QB Tyler Brennan (ankle) DOUBTFUL; WRs Pat Kelly/Chris Summers (hamstring) WILL PLAY. Also hearing CSU RB Teddy Allen is OUT.
I know that Mike Brown wants to compete and be on the field, but I hope that there is a plan for him to be on the sideline once the game is under control.

Just Espn3. I know they are getting ready to add more ESPN content.
