I'm fine with them being ranked. But over Maine? Over ODU? Even Towson.

I don't think they should be ranked but until we prove otherwise they are the best team in the big south.

The Chants know htat they have received beat downs of the highest order their last two trips to Lynchburg and Other than Furman their wins are not over very high caliber competition. In fact, the last two times they came to the mountain they were 3-2 (2009) and 3-5. 2009 we beat them 58-13 NS 2007 WE BEAT THEM 37-24 and the picture of Vince Redd nearly breaking the Coastal QB in half is one of the most memorable from that season.

I think we got screwed on the rankings this week !

Coastal was ranked like 17 last week ? and we used them, and now we are ranked like 27 !?!

What is up with that !?!

yeah, i thought we'd be 26 or 27. Maybe 25. But we all knew Coastal was overrated. What I don't get is Coastal is still around 28 and 29 in a few polls.

Anyways, hopefully the longer we're not ranked, the more focused we can play to give it our best every Saturday.

I hate to break it to you guys, but we could win out, blow through the playoffs, win 63-0 in Frisco, and still be out of the top ten in both polls at the end of the year.
