Why do people from up there always ruin everything...I mean, everything? They've got to ruin it all?
It just doesn't make a lot of sense. They ruin their own area and then leave it because it's ruined and nasty and they come south to try to find beauty and they find it and then start ruining it.
So true. Look at their politics! They come from New York, move to Northern Virginia because of low taxes, and then vote for the same Democrats who raise their taxes again!

Mark Levin always says that Liberals are like locusts.

Nope. I just don't enjoy that matter of fact kind of opinion anymore, and this board is full of it.

BUMP

So I'm in the express line at Food Lion yesterday buying Mrs. Cider her favorite beverage of choice, and the guy behind me says, "What's that"?

I come back with, "You're not from the South, are you?" He responds, "No, Philadelphia."

So I gave him the short version of how Cheerwine is the best soft drink on Earth and how it just recently got distributed out of North Carolina. I hope I made a believer out of him.

not if Cider wasnt dressed as a Dallas Cowboy or Santa.

In an effort to completely sidetrack the discussion, I have a long lunchtime layover in Philly in a couple of weeks.

Where do I get my steak? Pat's? Geno's? Local Hidden Treasure Unknown Nationally?

Oh yeah, Red 40. Look into it.

if you don't mind a drive into the ghetto, i would do chinks first. onions and american white.

if not, johns roast pork. get a small pork and a small steak. both will be silly.

leo's steaks is the best closest to the airport. their steak is huge.

I stock Cheerwine in my store. It's delicious. It's especially good from Cookout in the large cup with their really good ice, a double cheeseburger, onion rings and fries. I may have that for dinner tonight actually :)

Had that exact meal for lunch yesterday except switch the onion rings for chicken nuggets.

God bless the man that brought Cook Out to Tennessee.

Our Quiz Bowl MVP who's a NC native recommended Cook Out to us, and we were not disappointed!

I tried to bring it to Lynchburg actually. It is family owned and they just went into VA with their first location in Richmond. If they put one in the burg with a walk up window near campus, I can't even imagine the money they'd make. If only they'd listen to me, or let me buy in

Like I said, they're family owned and won't bring anyone else in. There are many many people who would jump at that opportunity if it were available.
