Interesting to see Wofford move up after having to score late in the game to beat the Blue Ho's.

William & Mary got dominated by UVa and they drop from 3 to 5. Wofford struggles against Presby. Frankly, I'd rather us be at the place we are in and know that we are better than several teams ranked above us. The Delaware loss was really bad and they are still high in the rankings- no matter that many prognosticators thought they would beat Navy. It was fun to watch all those puffed up CAA teams get blown out by their FBS opponents. Not a single one made a challenge for their opponents, but the one thing we had in common with most was turnovers. Both SB and Liberty gave their FBS opponents a game.

Wow. Makes me lose confidence in the polls. William & Mary was embarrassed by UVA but barely moves; Liberty was in the game into the 4th quarter and gets no respect. Very frustrating.

We play better when we get no respect!

True. We've been overrated in the polls for a long time.

Instead of automatically getting respect, we need to gain respect. Although these pollsters are obviously rather ignorant...

Rogers3 is money. We have plenty of time to move up. My only question is in regard to how Villanova managed to stay ranked after getting pounded by their crosstown rival. Wow.

We moved down because UMass and Sac State both deservingly moved up from below us. We're not ALWAYS a victim, chill.

I usually don't put a whole lot of stock in polls this early in the season for just this reason. There are a lot of teams moving up and down for what seems to be no good reason - but when you look at it you can understand most of those moves. Another few weeks and I'll start paying attention to them.

We're not getting an at large if we don't win the Big South so who cares.

I don't look at Liberty as being a victim. The victim mentality says FCS is so far behind we should be happy with a field goal against middle of the pack ACC teams from our top 5 programs. Makes sense that UMass and Sac State moved up, I just think FCS football has progressed too much to have teams in our top 10 get destroyed and that our polling should reflect that rather than giving them a pass based on tradition. While I'd like to discount early polls, when little movement occurs based on lopsided games, it should cause us to question voters. I get that it's only one game and it's early, however, the polls are an important component in establishing strength of schedule, conference strength, etc. For many FCS teams, the fate of their offseason will rest on 1 or 2 non-conference peformances - i don't think it's too much for us to ask voters to pay attention to every game.

The problem is the final score. When you look at our final score, 43-21, you can immediately write it off as never being a game. That's our own fault.

Forget the polls and win the Big South. We will host a first round game regardless.
