I'm not falling victim to the hype this year -- I've done so for the past several years and have only found myself disappointed with the result.

I believe we'll start off 2-3. We'll beat Kentucky Wesleyan and Robert Morris but lose to NC State, JMU an Lehigh.

I'll certainly be ecstatic if we turn up 4-1 or better yet 5-0 but until we see our boys on the field, I'm struggling to see what's going to be different this year.

I'm going with 2-3, but hoping for 3-2 or 4-1 (actually hoping for 5-0, but to quote Nell that's "Just a dream"). Lehigh has had our number since I was a student at LU, and granted we haven't played them in forever but I don't see us winning that one on the road. JMU is still a L until we beat them. NC State, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!! I see us beating Robert Morris and Kentucky Wesleyan.

Im in the 4-1 camp and I certainly dont think we will lose all three between NC State, JMU and Lehigh. We havent played the Hawks since 2004, and that seems like forever ago. We are finding ways to win as the road team now more often than not. I'll be interested to see who plays QB for them this year because they did pick up that one from K-State and Thorpe didnt exactly beat Dudzik for the job last year.

3-2 with a loss to NCSU and a split of JMU/Lehigh, heading to the Springs of Boiling for the conference opener, which I think might be a dandy. I sure hope the TV rumors and moving the kickoff up to 3:30 come to pass.

FWIW, G-W heading into that game at 2-2 would be nice, the road trip to Samford the week before being key after the off week after back to back FBS games against Ohio U. and Wake.
