I`ve actually been to several on the list. I`d also suggest La Parroquia in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

I`ve actually seen some gorgeous temples here in Japan since my arrival.

As far as local Lynchburg churches go, I'm pretty proud of mine--Rivermont Ave. Baptist:

Cool post. I am surprised Schuller's Crystal Cathedral wasn't on the list, although I assume it is no longer in use. Have been to the chapel at Air Force Academy. It is an impressive structure.

I've been fortunate enough to have gone to a ton of the churches shown. The Chapel in the Rock near Sedona, the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and the Church in a Hill in Luxembourg are all really amazing to see in person. The view from the Chapel in the Rock is absolutely amazing.

The Chapel in the Rock is a really great church building, hopefully I'll be able to see some of the others listed.

St Georges Monastary is pretty impressive. It is between Jerusalem and Jerhico. Built into the side of a mountain.....about 1/2 down!! Sure PETRA is impressive, but that IMO isn't as impressive as St Georges.
Here in the states, I have seen severl. Of the ones I have visited I like the Crystal Cathedral, although it has a few leaks (not just water either!!) and Willow Creek. WC was sort of one of the innovators of mega church buildings in the 80's and 90's.

I actually just got back from Europe a week ago and found a couple of churches in Brussels, Belgium that I thought were really cool. The Église Notre Dame du Sablon was really beautiful...it has some amazing marble inside. http://www.sacred-destinations.com/belg ... sablon.htm

Also saw a really neat church near the fish market in Brussels. St. Catherine's is a little off the beaten path, but the church and the area had a certain rugged and gritty look to it that I thought was really neat. http://images1.just-landed.com/housing_ ... 568961.jpg

The same appears to be the case here in Australia. Some gorgeous cathedrals here in Melbourne with just a smattering of folks showing up. I wish they had a Hillsong campus here.

God has seriously blessed our church and I've been so grateful to have sat under the preaching of Johnny Hunt all 24 years of my life.
