I'd definitely put the Cavalier in this category, Sly. The place doesn't even have a sign outside to identify it as a restaurant.

Texas Inn (the T-Room) and The Cavalier are (from what I can tell) integral parts of the college experience. I got to go to the Cavalier spring of 2010 with a friend...Im surprised more LU students dont go there

I'm right there with you. This is the only thing I get at Moore's. I don't get the big fascination with their hot dogs...they're red, so what? And their chile is nasty, which is a travesty in itself. But the Malisse burger is where it's at.

Too far from campus, which is conversely the reason I rarely finding myself going to eat at Macados, since it's so far from my perch on Rivermont.

Cav needs to get with the times and start taking debit cards. I'd go there more often, but I usually don't carry a ton of cash on me.

Definitely. It's old and junky, but excellent burgers. Texas Inn is old and junky too, but the egg on the burger puts it over the top. One of a kind place for sure.

Ive never had a cheesy (mostly because Ive never really liked eggs) but I certainly have enjoyed experiencing the T-Room as well

There's a new Moore's at the Waterlick/Leesville Rd intersection. Much more convenient. I guess it's too late, but Myrt's is another place that could be added to this list. Real similar menu to Moore's.
