He may not be a great outside shooter, but in this series, he hit some huge threes when Miami needed them. The one in Game 4 right in front of the Boston bench was ridiculous. The one w/ 40 seconds left last night was just as big.

As a Heat fan, I'm a little concerned about how they will stop Derrick Rose in the next round (assuming the Hawks don't win the series)...but I think Miami is playing with as much confidence as they have all year...I think it will be a great series.

MeBron is a jerk, plain and simple. The city of Miami has the biggest bandwagon fans in all of pro or college sports. Watching them choke against Dallas would be a pleasure, and watching old fuddy duddy Stern hand the trophy over to Cuban will make for good tv.

the funny thing about heat fans is that it wasn't hard to spot the very many empty seats throughout the arena during the eastern finals even....thats just pathetic...

its every sport down there. during cubs/marlins last week we sat amongst a crowd of 75% cub fans and there were only 3500 people there.

Yeah that's sad too but come on there shouldn't be empty seats during the conference finals. Miami doesn't deserve any success

The problem in Miami is there are so many people that have moved there from other places (Northeast, etc.). So there's alot of Boston, New York, Chicago, etc. fans. Not a lot of people who grew up there and became Miami fans.

Now how about game 2??

That was crazy.

Miami was clearly the better team in Game 1. For 43 minutes, they were the dominant team in Game 2. They let their foot off the gas a few minutes too early and completely changed the series. Now Dallas has momentum, confidence, and home-court for the next 3 games.

Miami is the better team, but the better team doesn't always win.

I almost feel more comfortable when the Heat are down by 6 with 3 minutes left than I am when they are leading late in the game. They just seem to struggle with putting teams away when they get up by 10-15 points. And against a team like Dallas, that lead can vanish quickly if you get complacent.

Miami wasn't dominant in the first half of game two. They were lucky they weren't down by 15 that half. Dallas did everything possible to keep them in the game in the first half, then Miami was dominant the first 19 minutes of the second half before Dallas took over like in the first half.

Miami was too worried about celebrating the win before the game was over. D Wade celebrating in front of the Dallas bench after he hit a big 3 may have inspired the Mavs to play hard until the end.

I can't believe so many people making such a big deal about this. I guess it's cause it's the Heat. But that was a huge shot. Put the Heat up 15. If the roles were reversed the Mavs would have been celebrating too.

After going up 15 the Heat were simply out of control. They slacked off on defense, did not run any thing that resembled an offense, worked the crowd and played to the cameras..Meanwhile the Mavs got back into the game one possession at a time. It was Showtime in Miami. After that mental meltdown the show may have been cancelled or at least postponed for a year...The fan in me still wants a seven game series. I was a UVA season ticket holder back when Rick Carlisle played. He is a great coach. It would be great to see him win a ring.

I agree with this, but the "celebration" after Wade's shot was not over the top like everyone is making it out to be.

I just watched Wade's 3 pointer reaction again and I agree it was not over the top.
