Because unlike some people (not anyone who regularly contributes on this board mind you), you actually have an occasional moment of mental clarity

That's the logical next step for LU basketball to get us out of being an elite Big South team to an elite east coast team...

Elite Big South team? Did I miss something?? I wouldn't call UNCA an elite Big South team either before you guys try to slam me.. lay off the :koolaid

That sounds like a plan of a team that is selling out games.

Barber just tweeted that the floor on the Vines will look different next year. Does anyone have any details?

It looks like they're filling inside the 3 point line with a different color. I liked the clean look of the other floor. I guess I'll wait till there done to whine.

I think I would've liked navy around the outside with red lanes more. Then again, I didn't like the old court at first and it grew on me. I'm sure this will grow as well.

In regards to what we ask fans to wear: yes. In uniforms, stadiums, etc, we're still using both.

I like the big letters on the baseline but what is with the cream color on the floor? Is it just me or is that awful? Maybe it's not done. Maybe it's just a bad picture.

It's probably just to make it a little more obvious to players like Evan Gordon who aren't quite sure where they are on the floor.

I like how our new court looks! I hope we don't end up with something like Oregons new court though.

From the article linked:
"The NCAA also passed a statute that prohibits defenders from drawing a charge within three feet of the basket."
No, they haven't.

They passed one that prohibits SECONDARY defenders from drawing a charge. A primary defender CAN still draw a charge in the semi-circle.

A correctly called charge call in the RA will result in fans needing to take blood pressure meds, simply because of this misunderstanding.
