Your team scored 19 points in the first half!!! The game was like watching a pick-up basketball game in LaHaye... IMO - Worst team to win National Championship since Villanova won in 1985... You know it's a bad game when Yahoo is promoting how bad Calhoun's pregame speech was the day after the game.

First of all, that Yahoo "story" was just ridiculous. Like that blogger knows anything about the coach, team, players, or program.

Second, what UConn did this year would hardly qualify them as the worst champion ever. They accomplished something no other team ever has, and earned every win.

Since when did a championship become a album review or beauty contest? IT'S A TOURNAMENT! The best team comes out on top by WINNING EVERY GAME. Seems to me they earned it. It ain't about someone's opinion. It's about winning.

I think UConn could beat any team, but at the same time I think nearly any team is capable of beating UConn. UConn executed at the right moments to win, but it wasn't pretty, and if the entire tournament had to be done over I wouldn't be shocked to see a different national champion. However, that's a hypothetical we know will never come to pass.

UConn won 2011 NCAA Division I national championship, and that's the bottom line. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if they won it playing an ugly championship game or not, the point is they won.

Honestly, years from now all a lot of people will remember is that UConn won this year's tournament. Now, will they be airing the championship game on ESPN Classic anytime in the near future? Probably not.

Isnt he under investigation for improper recruiting practices in steering a potential recruit to the University through a former manager/asipiring agent (or is it improper benefits one of the two) and now the recruit in question is saying that he (Calhoun) lied about it?

Yeah, & I would have won if the rounds were scored the same. Number of correct picks - 1st...total score - 2nd.....now that doesn't add up.
