I like Beecher in the game. High basketball IQ and usually settles things down. And I have seen her hit 15' jumpers

Haize, I don't think Coach Reeves is a big fan of these refs

He is right about the 3 second calls though. There was one situation where Beecher was in the key for about 6 seconds, and scored on that poessession. So in fairness to him, I have been noticing that.

Watching this game, one thing LU needs is a better point guard. I think that is the missing piece

You do know that you can be in the painted area (as well as "the key") for more then 3 seconds at a time don't you?

Maybe in Mamby Pamby Land. The vernacular is 3 Seconds in the LANE. You can even ask for 3 seconds in"The Paint" but if a coach EVER asked me for a 3 second call in "The Key" I don't know if I could stop myself from laughing. You can hit a shot from "The Top Of The Key" however.

I agree. The athletes for GW are giving our girls FITS. Still love Avery though. She is a WARRIOR. Needs to work on her offensive game in the off season

What was Jelena thinking? You can't take the 2 there even if they give it to you with 3 seconds left and no timeouts.

Once again it was turnovers and missed free throws that cost us the game. First time our ladies have ever lost a BSC final.

According to announcers Pope's foot was on the line on her 3 pointer but refs never looked at it - 1 point loss. Of course foul shooting and TOs our achilles heel all season. Need a point guard with a good FT percentage and ball skills. I'm done. can't wait for next year

Free throws and turnovers killed us. It is hard to say how the missed call on the Webb "3 pointer" impacted the game. I hope we get the chance to play UVA in the WNIT . Beating them would ease the sting of this loss.

I hope the girls work on their FTs during the off season. A great rebounding team like ours should get to the FT line and make them.
