i hope somebody had a video of toman today. he actually put a juke on the ump tryign to get in between him and the ump that blew the call, like a barry sanders style juke. It was pretty good to see. I think his main beef was that the runner never moved, usually if the ball is even close the runner would've made an attempt to score. Nobody moved, Tyler didn't go after it, Doug never moved then like 10 seconds later home plate ump waves for a fair ball and 3 runs score. I dont know if the ball was fair or not but usually the reactions of the runner would give you a good idea and the guy never budged. Same ump blew a call in game 2 on a stolen base that cost Tyler a RBI and the flames a run.
Rasmus showed he's a stud today. The guy can flat out do it all. He hit a towering bomb, clutch rbi double, absolutely hosed a guy stealing 2nd and caught a very difficult short hop on a throw from the OF to tage the runner out. Game 2 he lays down another bunt and steals second, same as the VT game. That guy can play. Parmley looks like another Redal (both looks and his game and left handed hitting). I dont think he's quite as good as Curran was but he will be the CFer. I still like moving Doug back to first, sizemore at DH. We've got to find someone to play some D at 2nd and LF, a lot of costly errors at both positions this week.
