Good news to those of you who ordered a mini-helmet!! They have arrived from the manufacturer and Mr. Littlefield is planning to send them out this week. He also added, "they look fabulous"

I am sooo excited. I can't wait to have my mini-helmet pencil caddy here on my desk at work

Since we are getting close to the football season. (less than 2 months away!) I was wondering if there will be a chance to get a mini-helmet. Anyone know if this can happen?

The LU Bookstore is in the process of making them available, last I heard by the end of July or by the time school starts. We'll make the announcement here as soon as the bookstore manager lets us know. She's trying her best to get them at a better price

As a more affordable (about $20 each, for a Riddell replica) alternative to ordering a (Schutt replica) mini-helmet from Mr. Littlefield, I can provide the phone number for the Riddell representative to whoever may be interested in "coordinating" an order (minimum of 12). If someone wants to volunteer to do that, he (she) would then contact the Riddell rep and place the order providing a credit card number for payment for the entire order (the credit card will not be charged until the order is shipped). The "coordinator" would then receive the entire helmet shipment and make arrangements to deliver the helmets to, and collect payment from, each person who requested a helmet. I "coordinated" an order last year and made delivery at the first home game to all those who wanted a helmet. Bozlady, SumItUp, Flamerbob, Lunpretty11 and others on this board placed orders last year with me and were happy with the Riddell replicas.

So, if someone wants to coordinate an order this year, send me a PM and I will provide the contact number of the Riddell rep. Just remember, the minimum order is for 12 helmets and the coordinator will be on the hook for the entire amount until he (she) can collect from each person who wanted one.

Mini-Helmets arrival in LU Bookstore#351058

LU Football mini-helmets will be arriving in the LU Bookstore next week (week of July 30th) per the LU Bookstore manager. She said that they will also be available online as soon as they arrive! Don't know the price just yet but they'll be cheaper than the ones sold this past Spring at least that's what I've been told.

Hey All!

New to the post but not to LU! Major FB fan who has followed the program since the Coach Karcher (SP) days...! Look forward to the discussions to come.

I contacted Barnes & Nobles on Monday and they stated the Helmets will not be available for another 1.5 weeks. Of course, this probably means 2.5 weeks.
