No, it's true. If we both finished 17-1 with our only losses to each other, then it would come down to a coin toss.

Here is how the tiebreaker works:
In tie with same overall conference record it falls to 3 areas.
1. Record against each other. If they split the series then it goes to
2. Record against the next best team in the standings, 3rd, 4th, 5th and on and on until they come across a team where one of the teams tied has a better head-to-head record with a team than the other.
3. If that does not settle it, then it comes down to a coin toss.

I hope I explained it well enough to make sense.

Coastal really is the superior team this year. We are hanging around though...

I'll tell you what irritates me more than anything. We always get it to a 2 possession game with the chance to cut it to one and we always screw it up!!!!! :furious :furious :furious :furious

Joel (or as Hogue would say, Jon) just looks a dollar short and day late at times.

I know its been said over and over, but that place is a sorry, lame, pathetic excuse for a middle school gym. Our middle school city championship had an attendance of 1,100. That would be a fire code violation in that place.

It would actually be kind of fun to get the #1 seed using this scenario in light of the football bs we had to deal with this fall.

The unforced TOs are killing us. Also, why in the h-e-double toothpicks are we letting them inbound from the baseline to the guy posted up underneath the basket? It has happened three times in the second half (the third was a pass off of the back of an LU defender to himself).

You know KK would find anyway possible to make sure Coastal won the toss.

We don't like the ball. Clearly. We would rather turn it over to them and let them shoot. They have almost 20 more attempts than us tonight. Pathetic mental mistakes and carelessness. Not championship level play on our part.

We are young though so there is hope of improvement.

Conspiracy theory much?
Nope. You know it.

They're just downright bigger than us. It's how any team in the Big South dominates the league. Winthrop was bigger than everyone with Bradshaw. Radford was with Art. Coastal is with Gray and McLaurin.

awe. That's cute. Both of the Coastal fans that could fit in the gym are upset about a call.

There's absolutely no reason the league would want the tournament at Coastal and not at Liberty. Would you rather have the profit from 1000 people or 4000 (or 8000 if we made the championship)?

Wouldn't the Big South rather have Coastal win, a team that has received much more national attention than us?

I'm not saying KK himself would rig it. I'm saying he would definately want Coastal to host so they can win. Which is why the whole tournament is always held at the 1st round winner. Because the Big South wants the "best" team to win.

I'm a big Jesse fan, but that "drive through the lane and put up a blind layup with my right hand" shot needs to be used more sparingly.

Hopefully we can figure these guys out before the championship game of the tournament.
