The game of football is seen all across the country from Friday Night Lights to Monday Night Football, two teams of 11 players on the field battling for one goal, to be victorious. Football is known to be to be a “man’s game” and a game that tests your strengths.

In the NFL there is not one woman player, in College football there is not one woman player and in high school there is not one woman player.

Well not so fast. There is one woman, or shall we more accurately say, young lady that is trying to change that.
And at the end of the story ...
Provost hopes that deciding to play football as a woman inspires other women in the future to play as well. “I think that would be awesome,” said Provost. Provost not only hopes to change the game having woman play but she also doesn’t want to stop playing. As a senior moving on to college, Provost hopes to take her game to the next level by playing at Liberty University in Virginia, who are interested in her.

He mentions one 4 yard touchdown run; otherwise any indication of how much she played or her results is glaringly absent. I would also say it is pretty shady to say that Liberty University is interested in her. That's a given if you have a HS diploma or GED. He did NOT say our FOOTBALL PROGRAM was interested in her.

I heard FACS is gunning hard to sign her.

Seriously, this article is embarrassing us.

Maybe she could cross over and play for our new field hockey team (I don't think she's beating out Mike Brown at QB).

If she ever put a foot on this campus for a visit as a football recruit I don't think I would ever watch a Liberty football game again. People already think that Liberty and the Big South is a joke in football. I'm sure this whole thing about a chick playing for us would help with that perception.

I just noticed this is a bleacher report article! That explains the lack of facts and blatant lie that we're interested.

I wish I never would have found BC and their constant photos of the USC Song Girls and Oregon's cheerleaders spring break photos.....holy cow.

As for the girl QB...this....hmmm....what to say.....well, it's not good! (Johnny Drama voice)

watching the video it looks like she can't throw farther than 10 yards and her "other position" is D End. If high school OB's play both ways most play in the secondary not on the D Line. I can just see Mike lining up at DE and Rocco fainting

If anyone even thinks for a second to take this seriously, then you really really do not understand D-1 athletics... especially the athletic programs that take their sports seriously.

At no point does anyone say that we or any other college football program at any level has an interest in her . She is interested in Liberty. Fine; she is no doubt welcome as a student. She says she would like to continue playing football after HS. I'm pretty sure she knows that will not be on a men's college team, especially D1.

Maybe she can be our affirmative action kicker like they had at New Mexico and Colorado.
