Eastern Washington's ridiculously talented but often injured tailback is declaring for the NFL draft after his Junior season.

1. Hope he makes it. He's got a ton of talent and deserves a pay-day.

2. This increases Mike's chances of winning the Payton.

I agree completely on the latter point, TTL.

You get the feeling that Taiwan suspects his stock will never be higher than now. Even so, I suspect he'll be a late round draft pick.

Apparently he was told he grades out as a third rounder. If I heard that in his situation, I'd bolt, too.
