It's a slow day in the office today and was digging around in some stats - and thought to continue our Jesse Sanders discussion from the game thread.

Currently, Jesse has 403 career assists. With 12 games left at an average of 6.3/apg, Jesse will add an additional 76 assists this season, which should put him somewhere in the ballpark of 479 assists after his junior year.

The Big South record is 604 by Amir Johnson from Radford. Can Jesse get there? Where does he end up?

Jesse has roughly 40 games left in his career if he stays healthy. Round his current assist average down 6 to be conservative and he will have almost 650. I really wouldn't be surprised if he pushes it closer to 700.

Well I know he won't end up like Amir... Jesse just doesnt have the same mindset that Johnson did... I'm sorry but he just won't...

... I mean I can't see Jesse running a stop sign let alone getting arrested for breaking in someone's house and stealing their stuff. Amir and Jesse are just too different to think Jesse could ever be like him...

lol...along TBGB's vein I said before that Jesse could probably get a date with any girl on campus and if they brought him home to meet the parents theyd probably go out and start scouting wedding venues the next morning...he is THAT likeable

Nope...straight as the day I was born and will remain that way til the day I die. Jesse is a great guy. He came to my hall one Tuesday night to talk about a volleyball tournament at the Schilling Center and he was wearing a perfectly tailored suit and shoes that you could probably check your teeth in they looked that well polished...if I was a dad to a daughter his age (which would mean Id probably have to be about 20-25 years older than I am now) Id think that God just dropped a huge blessing in my lap.

No one thinks you are a homosexual and I don't think anyone would care if you were, it is just funny how you think so highly of someone (who I am sure is a great guy) that you would promise your daughter to him. I wear suits and can be pretty smooth and know how to be in front of crowds too but I promise you that I'm not appealing to anyone's daughter. lol. It isn't that you think highly it is just how you express it. always in good fun.

Not to bring back the BJ love fest...

Karl Hess is our all-time leading assist man at 648.
Jesse is currently #6 at 426. At his current rate he would be #3 by the end of the year. As long as he stays healthy he should surpass Hess as well.
