Haize - If that is the case, why are guys with one year of terrible play at the college level going int he 1st round of the draft each year? And how can kids playing in 4th rate Euro club leagues getting drafted like crazy?
The league drafts nearly completely on upsides. They don'[t care near as much where you play college ball these days as they did a decade or so ago. And based on Stephen's success thus far, Seth will get plenty of hard looks. They only way he significantly improved his draft stock by transferring to Duke was if he became their #1 or #2 option. That's not happening this year and it is yet to be determined if it ever will.
All that said, I'd love to see him have a great NBA career. Bitterness over a decision made my a 19-year-old kid doesn't make much sense. He seems happy to be playing for the defending national champion and current #1. Even if the NBA doesn't work out, I'm sure he is enjoying the ride right now.
