This isnt related to who we play but its a thought about start times...what do you guys think of maybe splitting the games (assuming we can get a sixth home game) between a 1 and 7 PM start time with homecoming being the only 3:30?

Interesting move to put GW/LU early on....maybe something to do with an OOC game for CSU or G-W perhaps? I'm wondering when we get to play Wake Forest next fall, if it isn't opening weekend, I don't know where that game will fit in, since we are committed to the game at Ohio U. in week two for sure.....

ODU is not playing the return game in our series apparently now until 2013 either, so we'll have them and UNC-Charlotte at home that fall.

there's a guy on AGS who usually posts the schedules (its hosted on CS.com) but a lot of the schedules are not up there so its hard to get a read as to who our options are for filling in the 11th game. I know that the general feeling on the board is no DII or lower games for that 11th slot but its looking like its getting harder to get that last home game as we are just under 2 months from signing day (and they tend to announce the schedule at the same presser that they announce the incoming class).

There are always teams who have dates cancelled and are looking for someone to help fill their holes all the way up until the spring. So patience should definitely be exercised here.

If this is true, this is great, considering winning a D2 game is considered the same as an FCS loss in regards of playoff eligibility.

Not that I'm saying we purposely wanted to play a D2, but seriously we couldn't pay some team lower FCS like Morehead State, etc., to play us?

Id rather have kept an all D1 schedule once again this year but Im just glad we have a full slate of games at Williams. My guess is that they were gunning for some of the bigger fish to come to our pond, but not getting any of them to bite we had to get whatever fish we could.

Oh well, Delaware plays a D2 every year and they still find a way to make the playoffs. This should be a challenge in that we MUST win the Big South next year to make the playoffs. Not that it hasn't always been the case.

Delaware makes the playoffs because they deserve to make it, d2 or not. With our schedule for 2011, we can do enough OOC to still get an at-large if we slip up once in the Big South.

I like having the Bye right before SBU. and the "bye" of playing KYW right before conference play.

I hope it doesn't matter either but I disagree. If we are 9-2(8-2) with losses to NC State and (SBU/CCU) we would likely get in. We'd have wins over JMU, RMU, Lehigh. Not bad at all. Or if we beat NCSU and lose to JMU I think we're in.
