Thoughts?
Well Kyrie Irving could be out for the season, if so, then yeah it's going up. He's out for at least a month, so I would assume Curry would pick up some of the scoring they lose in Irving in that stretch.

He played 7 minutes against MSU. The only reason the minutes per game is 18 is because of the cupcakes. I don't think there is anyway he will play 18 minutes a game when they get into the ACC schedule but hey, I could be wrong.

About the PPG I think it will stay right where it is all year but I'm not sure.

He hasn't been playing well - he's been lost on defense. Couple that with the fact Andre Dawkins is playing out of his mind right now and Seth isn't going to get the minutes right now.

It's looking more and more like Irving is done for the year...so I'd expect Seth to be the first guard off the bench as the season goes on.

He is now not only the second best son of a former star in his family; he's also the second best on his team.

I talked to Seth for a while after the Bradley game and he is really struggling with having to score in a short amount of time (meaning if he doesn't make his first couple of shots he isn't going to be on the floor very long)... This is the first time in his life (Yes it was his choice to go to Duke) that he is NOT the first option when he is on the floor...

That's hard to deal with and adjust to when its all you've ever known... Even last year in practice, he was still the first option... With Kyrie out, he'll get more minutes but he's going to have to create his own shot more and from what I've seen this year he's not handling the ball nearly as well as he has in the past... He told me its been a bigger transitation than he thought it would be... He talks to Steph about it all the time. I think he'll be fine but it may not be this year, I think it will be next year... The beauty is that he doesn't have to score 15 a game this year to be a big contributor.

yeah, what would Stephen know about making that type of transition. He actually stuck with his school.

It only takes one good year to get your name on the NBA radar. For some, not even one good year (like Daniel Orton). In all likelihood, he isn't going to the NBA rather he went to Duke or stayed at Liberty, however.

That is the strangest wording of a sentence I've ever seen. I think I understand what you were saying but you're wrong.

Sorry, but if he continues to average garbage PPG at Duke, he will have no shot at an NBA contract. If he had stayed here and led the nation in scoring, he was guaranteed to be drafted. I'm not saying he would have been any better in the NBA, but the contract would have been there.

I think he meant "whether" instead of "rather" (that's the cost of a DIII education). Study

His pedigree and being on Duke alone will get him a roster spot in the NBA. He'll need to have a solid Jr and Sr year though if he wants to be a lottery pick.
