My daughter turned 4 months old yesterday. When she was born one of her hips was in the joint very loose. Our Pediatrician wanted us to take her for an ultrasound as a matter of follow up. Well, after three ultrasounds over the past 3 months they recommended us going to an Orthopedic. We went there this morning, and he said her hips haven't matured as much as they would like. So, she has to be in a brace 24/7 for the next 4 months. Hopefully that will cure the problem.

I think this is/will be harder on me and my wife than our daughter.

Prayers would be much appreciated for strength (me and my wife) and healing.

Wow, you can count on prayers from all of us who have children and understand how much of an impact this is going to be for you. In fact, I am saying a prayer right now in Houston.

I've got a 2-year-old son and one on the way in December. I can't imagine how tough this is on you guys. I will definitely be keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Please keep us in your prayers. I guess all I can say is it feels as though Satan is working hard on our family. This last week has been the worst week of my life.

Renewing prayers in Houston.

My wife & I always say that God must be about to use us in a mighty way whenever our family comes under attack. Thanks for sharing your burden with us.

Big praise today! After 5 1/2 months in the sling, she got it off this morning! She has to wear a different brace now, but only at night and it's a lot less intrusive than the other. Now we just need her to build up strength in her legs to be able to eventually stand and ultimately walk. She's so used to not using her legs it will be an adjustment for her, but we are very thankful.

Thank you for all your prayers.

A lot of kids don't even begin trying to walk until 10-11 months so there is plenty of time to get the hang of it.

That's fantastic news!
