Defenses are definately focusing on Evan. He needs to learn to deal with it. That doesn't mean force up heavily contested shots, it means be agressive and take it to the basket and draw fouls or dish it to teammates.

i have to admit, i have been surprised with the way they have looked this year. The one thing we can hang the hat on is that evan and burrus haven't played up to their potential yet. I know that's already been said but i mean seriously, we could be upper echelon this year if those 2 ever get going. Also, the point about the league being stronger is dead on. I have seen wintrhop, VMI, and Coastal, GW, and of course Presby, and they all look better than last year. The only team that appears worse is Radford and they have looked flat out awful.

Are we out of the Big South yet

However, only a few people would do it with me, probably because they didn't understand the meaning.

FWIW...G-W lost at HPU by 2, only shooting 32% from the field in the second half, and going 0 of 15 from 3 for the entire game. I'm pleased with our efforts so far, Holtmann is already proving to be one heckuva coach.
