Minaya fouled with :4 to play. He misses both! They miss at the buzzer and the final score is 64-58.

Nice to get the win, but we can't be happy about the last 5 minutes or so.

Agreed ... we need to hit some from the stripe and learn to close out opponents.

We hit 27-36 from the line, which is a more than adequate 75%, but we missed some big ones down the stretch.

Minayah has only missed 3 free throws all season including those last 2. He had a nice streak going prior. I am concerned about the shooting percentage of the team overall at 37% and in the backcourt with Evan and Jesse both shooting 31% from the field on the year. Evan takes a ton of shots so it will be nice when he gets it going. They are both better shooters than these percentages so you figure it will turn heavily in their favor the other way once they come out of it. Jesse has yet to hit a 3 this season. John Caleb is shooting it well overall and from 3 but he isn't playing a high amount of minutes right now. I can't wait for the team to get back to the Vines on Thursday. I'm ready!
