This concept is just stupid if you've followed Liberty football as close as you think you have. If you did, you would know this is Rocco's defense, not Clark's. Clark had never ran the 3-4 before coming to Liberty. If you're wanting a change, then you need to look at Rocco, and I think you need to be very, very careful before you go down that road.

Fire Rocco.

I'm sick of the defense. He doesn't change or adapt. He's been running the 4-2-5 with great success against lesser teams, then we face a challenge and we go back to the 3-4 and 3-3-5 that gets us toasted.

Covering FBS transfer TE's with a linebacker in unacceptable, especially when you have 5 DB's on the field.

Why do we need to be careful when we go down that road? He's never done anything here. He's inherited a program that was pumping in tons of money and was able to bring in a few players. We've made the same mistakes over and over since he's been here. He doesn't change or adapt. He's not good enough to get us to where we need to be. His defense is terrible and the team comes out flat very, very often.

Being "Not Ken Karcher" is NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON to keep him. Being 1-10 a couple years ago isn't a good enough reason to keep him. Especially since he's not meeting the goals he sets for himself. That should be a red flag, when he sets goals for seasons and we don't reach them.

Ok, so wouldn't he audible if they keep getting burned? Don't watch the ship go down and do nothing. I know there is a lot of tackling issue but the scheme isn't helping.

I know it's Rocco's defense and I also know that he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

Where has our discipline gone?
Let's not question Rocco tho. It's clearly all on the players to do this again.

The D is bad. Period. I don't care who is responsible. The showing in big games the last few years speaks for itself. Changes need to be made. Coaches, players, recruiting, something. It is an undeniable pattern on D the past few years. I assume Rocco can see that and will make changes in the off-season. If not then I think we are fools to expect anything different next year.

But, according to Rocco, you "can't recruit" the type of linemen you need to run a 4-3 at this level! How does CCU do it?!?!?!

Alan York can even see it. We're not covering the tight ends. We have terrible pass coverage. And a 3-3-5 can't stop a legit running attack.
