BTW, All of the pics in the initial post are mine except the one of Pemasa. I'll post several from Saturday's game on here by Sunday.

With a win Saturday this year's senior class will set a new record for wins with 33, breaking the '09 senior class record of 32.

This new record will likely only stand for one year. :D

Your ones last year Were awesome. I can't wait for some football in person. 2 weeks off is too long.

I have long been a fan of elcid83's photography. Thank you once again for sharing your great work.

For the record, I am in the Canon camp as well. But you get some great shots from that Nikon. You must have some great glass.

definitely top notch...adds a whole new dimension to your recaps of the games elcid...

As for the matchup itself...LU has scored 40 or more points in every game at Williams Stadium since losing to JMU in the monsoon last year...Charleston Southern saw the end of LU's steak of 50 point home games at 5 (if you count the matchup at City Stadium) but LU has scored 40 or more points in seven straight games in Lynchburg, not to mention that the average margin in the last three meetings between these two is 24.6 points (including the 51-28 thrashing in Boiling Springs last year). The running game is not as dominant as it has been but SirChauncey Holloway is establishing himself as the feature back after Aldreakis Allen left the team before the season. If G-W wants to have a chance in this game they canNOT let it turn into a track meet from the get go. The Runnin Bulldogs have only scored > 30 points twice (vs. Akron and vs. Charleston Southern) and the Flames have not allowed >30 points in 13 straight home games (holding all but two opponents below 20...JMU in 09 and Charleston Southern this year). LU has not lost a game at home when scoring 30 or more points since Nov 2, 1991, a stretch of 57 straight games...if G-W wants to win they are going to need to keep the score low...otherwise its going to be a long afternoon...

Sly, believe it or not, all of my shots are taken with Sigma 70-200 f2.8. I'd love to have a Nikon 400 f2.8 but I can't find a spare $10,000 anywhere.

I agree with everyone else that GW has a tough road ahead to get the W. We have won the stats game in just about every game we have played this year [except the final score]. Turnovers have bitten us hard in a couple of our losses and we are hopeful that issue will not be a problem this week.

Please say a kind word for #44 on Saturday - my reason for being a Runnin' Bulldog.

Hope you enjoy your trip, (except for the final score) and some LU hospitality. I believe you will be impressed with our new stadium, it is top shelf. We are very thankful to have it.

You get some amazing shots off that glass, elcid83. That is a testament to your skill.

As for today's game, here is the preview from Scribe:

Each day as practice wrapped up at Williams Stadium this week, Liberty coach Danny Rocco pleaded with his team to pay close attention to video from Gardner-Webb’s games with Old Dominion and Akron.

Gardner-Webb became the first Big South team ever to win a game against an FBS school when it beat Akron on Sept. 11. (Liberty followed suit a few hours later, beating Ball State.) Later, the Bulldogs played a 5-3 Old Dominion team tough in a 14-7 loss in Norfolk.
