I have been more positive lately with the team, since things are looking positive in many facets, however.

There is one thing I must address.

If the committee uses GPI in any way, shape, or form to determine who makes the playoffs...

1. We're not getting a first round bye, no matter what happens.
2. We're not making the playoffs if we fail to get the autobid.

One of the computers in the GPI has us at FIFTY. Our schedule is just too weak to build a playoff resume. We might be top 10 in the polls, but we'll be in the 30's in the computers.

That Ball State win is doing nothing for us, and that's really all we can hang our hats on.....Ball State is 2-7 with a FCS win and a win over a 2-7 Central Michigan whose lone FBS win is against 1-8 Eastern Michigan, and EMU's one win is over Ball State.

Yes and no. Like past years, Liberty only has 2-3 opportunities to prove they belong in the playoffs as an at-large. Win against those teams, and we can build a playoff resume. We didn't - end of story. We're looking at a record of 0-2 vs. the top 50, and computers don't blindly associate FBS with good football.

FYI - the GPI dumps the High and Low. Makes little difference though.

Right on the mark, TTL. If we can't take care of the opponents left on the schedule, we would, in no way, deserve a trip anywhere. We'll see who we are if we get into the playoffs. A first round win would prove the computers wrong- a loss would prove them right.

Taking care of business has always been our weakness!
