This is going through the school. They are setting it up. Almost everything has been decided, but I need the go-ahead before I can post details. Looks like signup is going to be through a portal on the school's website. Total cost will be a bit higher than the number we threw out, but still an amazing bargain. (CCU charges $15 for the tickets).

Not that I was surprised, but one thing I have discovered in the last 24 hours is that when our chancellor says to make something happen, a lot of people go to work on it.

Click on the arrow next to "ticket type" and it gives you the option of bus only for 10 or ticket and bus for 25. There is a $1 service charge.

It looks like the process has been all laid out and it is very much a first come first serve deal. After allowing for the chaparones the school is sending for the students, there should be 53 seats (if they take the bus I think they are.) I would definately not wait to sign up if you plan on going.

I wonder if there is enough interest, whether they would add a 2nd or 3rd bus... That would be GREAT!

Bought my ticket! Hopefully, no light poles will jump out and attack the bus this time. But I didn't see anything about a pre-game meal when I bought my ticket.

The only time I ever signed up for a bus trip was when they took one to UVA for baskeball...and the bus never came - 15 of us road in one of the LU 15 passenger tour vans. It was a little rough

There will no doubt be at least one stop. Probably more breakfast than lunch, since the departure time is 5 AM and we should be arriving before 12 for a 1:00 kickoff.

Still plenty of seats available. Apparently several who expressed an interest here haven't signed up yet. It's early, and they are taking people for the bus as late as the 12th (10th for the tickets) but there's really no reason to wait. Let's fill this thing up in the next couple of days. I would love to find myself trying to figure out how we can get a second bus, but we are definately not there yet.
