Would anyone be entertained by updates from my Liberty Dynasty on NCAA 11?

I could give like game recaps, and try and figure out how to get images from the highlights uploader onto here (or a blog).

Just wondering if anyone would be entertained or intrigued by such a thing.

75 overall. 80 offense, 72 defense.

Better than Ball State, not as good as Colorado State.

Here's the "scenario".

Western Kentucky realizes it made a huge mistake moving "up" to the Sun Belt and bails out on FBS and goes back to FCS. This opens the door for Liberty, who joins FBS and C-USA, as UAB moves to the Sun Belt from CUSA.

Liberty's placement in the C-USA makes Houston area fans happy.

Liberty hires new coach ToTheLeft to run the team as they progress to bigger and better heights. He then hires recently fired from CSU Steve Fairchild as his offensive coordinator, and runs the Colorado State offense. ToTheLeft coaches the defense and runs a 4-3 system.

Preseason recruiting starts...

now.

Is this an actual feature?

And last I checked the only offense you could run was the option with a 99 speed RB

No, the coaching thing is a way of saying I use the Colorado State playbook.

And I can run a perfectly good offense. Defense is the problem. And with this Liberty team.... ruh roh.

One recruiting class fixes the problem.

What are the College Rankings you're working with?

LU With A Strong Start

Liberty, the newest FBS team, started their journey at the highest level of college football with a 31-14 victory at Ball State.

LU's running game was the key to their success, gaining 243 yards on 37 carries. SirChauncey Holloway led the way with 18 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown, which was a 76 yard run on 4th and inches. However, Holloway had to leave with a serious injury in the 4th quarter, and will not return for a month.

Mike Brown was the second leading rusher, carrying 5 times for 73 yards. He also had a good day passing, completing 10 of 16 for 114 yards. His 2 TD's thru the air, and 1 on the ground, were enough to earn him Player of the Game honors.

Ball State and Liberty both started by trading punts, until an LU special teams blunder on a muffed kick catch led to a Ball State touchdown. The only other BSU score was set up by a 60 yard gain on a fake punt pass.

LU responded with a fake punt of their own, a 42 yard pass from Matt Bevins to Kyle O'Donnell.

LU running back Korrey Davis was also successful on a trick play, taking a handoff and throwing the ball across the field to his fellow running back SirChauncey Holloway on a screen pass for a 13 yard gain.

Defensively, Asa Chapman led the way with 7 tackles and a sack. Donald Manns turned in 2 tackles, 1 pass deflected, and an INT. Doncel Bolt had 2 tackles and a forced fumble, which was recovered by Terry Adams.

LU moves to 1-0. Ball State falls to 0-1.

LU Overcomes Injuries, Wins Shootout Against SMU 59-38

The Flames started off by putting a 1 in the win column for their C-USA season, traveling to Texas to take on the SMu Mustangs. The Flames were without starting tailback SirChauncey Holloway, and would lose RB Korrey Davis and QB Mike Brown for portions of the game, but were still able to win a high scoring game.

Liberty utilized the Wildcat formation for a good majority of the second half with Brown out of the game, and did so with great success. The Flames dominated on the ground once again, rushing for 347 yards on 28 carries. They also used the Wildcat formation to throw the ball with some trick plays, as Chase Barnett and Korrey Davis both completed passes in the game.

Mike Brown was named player of the game again, after overcoming an early pick-6 to put up numbers of: 9/16 passing for 135 yards and 2 TD's, and 5 carries for 83 yards and 1 TD on the ground. He also added 3 catches for 53 yards.

Freshman Chase Barnett was the star of the Wildcat formation, taking the role of the motion man and using his versatility to rush for 111 yards and 2 TD's on only 8 carries. Greg Pratt and Tyler Brennan also found the end zone on the ground during the contest.

Pat Bannon scored a TD as well, picking up a fumble on a QB sack by Doncel Bolt and running for 20 yards and a score.

The win lifts the Flames record to 2-0.

Yeah, I was sending a punt block, and they were using max protect. One of the up backs snuck out, caught a pass, and was GONE. My punt returner had to chase him out of bounds.

HA! You sent in a punt block? You're a terrible coach. Jay Mills would do so much better than you! Charleston Southern only lets him have 9 players on the field! Tom Clark should be fired! 38 points? That's terrible!

I just realized how horrifically bad this thread could turn out. No more Jay Mills/Tom Clark jokes from me.

LU Goes to the Air, Dominates Troy 42-10

Mike Brown goes 18 of 22 for 232 yards and 3 TD's as the Flames win against the Trojans. Brown also had 28 rushing yards and a rushing TD, and a 73 yard reception on the game. Visiting Troy fans were heard chanting "Whole Dang Team!" at one point during the game.

Took a video of a really nice pick 6 by Donald Manns. Will try and post it here later.

LU is now 3-0.

Liberty Tames the Bearcats, Beats UC 35-7

The Flames were up 35-0 in the 2nd quarter, and that was all LU would need to hold off a formerly ranked, Big East foe in Cincinnati.

Mike Brown was named player of the game once again, his efficient 9 of 12 passing for 154 yards and 3 scores was all the Flames would need. Korrey Davis and Chase Barnett also scored for the Flames. Tommy Shaver was the leading receiver, with 3 catches for 70 yards. The Flames were dominant defensively, registering 3 sacks (Adams, O'Donnell, Bannon), 2 interceptions (Vinson and Bannon), and 1 fumble forced (also Bannon).

Liberty is now 4-0 on the season. They head into their bye week undefeated. However, despite the strong start, the Flames are not receiving any votes in the top 25 polls.

Some stats through 4 games:

Mike Brown is the 3rd most efficient QB in the nation, behind Taylor Potts and Colin Kaepernick. He's 46 of 66 for 635 yards and 10 TD's to only 1 INT. He is second in the nation in yards per carry, behind only Chase Barnett. The pair have combined for 7 rushing touchdowns.

Chris Summers is 2nd in the nation in TD receptions with 5.

LU's offense is 5th best in the nation in points per game.

LU's pass defense is 7th worst, however, their rushing defense is 2nd best, trailing only Wisconsin, who has played one fewer game.

The Flames +7 turnover ratio is 2nd best in the nation behind Arizona State.

how in the eff are you having time to properly recruit and play the games that fast?

it takes me foreeeeeeeeeever to recruit on that game, i hate it.

other than that, my LU team i put in the SEC and they have 12 national championships in a row (after the 4th one, every kid wants to come here so i dont even worry about recruiting)

is your team available for download? im probably going to start a new one with a somewhat more realistic LU team

1. I don't think recruiting takes that long. After a while it becomes pretty easy and repetitive.

2. Yeah, it's available for download.

http://www.easports.com/teambuilder#/sc ... 1286229725 That link should work. If not, the username is Space0lympics (zero in 0lympics) on the PS3.

I know there's a way to download PS3 teams to the XBox, not sure if it's complicated but I am sure Google can help if you run into problems trying to download to an XBox.

I'm glad lefty has this much time. I'm enjoying the season. Ranked? Come on - you haven't played anyone yet...

My question is how long can Brown keep this up - running, passing and catching every game? Is Bevins missing all his kicks in your game to?

Go LU.

WOW on the recruiting pitches.

A+ TV Exposure? I mean alot of people can get it, but we're no Notre Dame.

Coach Experience + Prestige are both a bit bumped up for a for a guy who's never been a HC at a I-FBS school

Campus Lifestyle....hehehe...

I'm assuming the facilities reflect the future Bill and not the current one.

Everything else looks good tho. It's unfair to poke at specific player attributes.
