Those wristbands get you into all of the games outside of football & hockey for free ... and the bonfire is also gratis.

I didn't bother signing up and getting a wristband or anything so that's out the window. I'm sure I'll figure something out.

I'll be there. Wife was thinking about coming but with the prospect of it being 80 degrees and being 18 days out from her due date, she'll probably stay home.

We missed the bonfire and every sporting event not played at Williams Stadium. But the Sly Fox crew had a great time once again at Homecoming. The free childcare at Kids Cove was a big positive that was well appreciated by Mrs. Sly & I. The Chancellors Dinner was great and only wish I could have seen more FlameFans faces there Friday evening. The steak was outstanding in addition to the unlimited access to everything new at Williams Stadium.

Tailgating has come a L O N G way in just the past few years. Talking with Smoothie before the game we were thinking back to when it was basically Stevie Ray Lloyd's dad and a handful of FlameFans that made up the entire tailgating scene. It was awesome to see so many tailgating today and to see the great crowd taking in the parade. And I can't remember if it was FlamerBob or jcmanson who pointed out to me the line of people waiting for the gates to open. It truly is amazing.

My only disappointments were not getting to see the two hoops teams working out. The public workouts in years past have been one of our highlights. I'd love to see something to showcase our teams to alumni who may only get back to campus once a year at best.

A big thanks to everyone involved in once again making Homecoming weekend a rousing success. Mrs. Sly & I are already planning our next trip back to Lynchburg.

I had the most fun Homecoming I've ever had. It was great seeing all the people that havent been back in quite a while and always great to see the regulars like Smooth and dare I say Sumitup has become a regular all the way from OK????

Great to see you too Sly, had fun at the Alumni reception with you.

That video reminded me of something: it seemed like the parade was weak this year. I know we had more in it the last time we were in it in 2008. I didn't get to see last years. The 2007 one was awesome with Dorm 7. This year's was just tiny.

I forgot to post this last week, but I went to Pok-e-joes while in the burg for HC. Wow. The BBQ was decent, but the C&C burger is heavenly. The best burger I’ve ever had.

that is what I'm saying. I really like BBQ, but when I go there I have to get the C&C. I can't pass it up. Luckily they give free samples of their meats so I just snag some of that.

They've really handicapped themselves setting up shop in Boonesboro. And that's ignoring the fact that they only have room for about 15 people at a time.
