Not that it really pertains to LU but Danny Woodhead scored his first NFL touchdown on Sunday. The guy's story is awsome and he's always been heavily involved in FCA since High School and very open about his Christian faith.

On Sunday, members of the football coaching staff were tucked away in their offices at Chadron State, performing the usual day-after-game ritual of breaking down Saturday’s film - in this case, a 21-10 win over Adams State.

Then, during the early afternoon, the phones started ringing. And ringing. And didn’t stop ringing all afternoon. You might have thought there was a telethon going on at the school.

After a while, coach Bill O’Boyle considered installing a Danny Woodhead hotline.

I can't get enough of this kid...in two games playing with the Pats Danny's put up 1 rushing TD and 78 yds, he's also caught a pass for 11 yds and another score. You got to love the underdog

Woodhead earned more respect Monday night, again getting into the end zone – this time on an 11-yard pass reception – and rushing eight times, for 36 yards.

Yeah, this guy was fun to watch on Monday night, and it's cool to see him succeed. It's also amazing to see the Patriots continue to succeed with guys like this who come out of nowhere.
