It sure was a powerful storm. It dug up all the rock along the side of the road heading from the lower parking lot up towards the new paving up to the stadium. Word is Vines and Reber-Thomas Dining hall both flooded.

Here are some crude pics with my cell phone of a rainbow going over the stadium and the FOC. Maybe this is God's promise that it WON'T rain next Saturday. HOPE HOPE HOPE!!

You're close, but the rainbow ends at Coach Clark's office. He's going to give the magic gold to the defense to use at JMU.

Stadium projects have always fascinated me so it's been cool seeing this thing getting built.
Probably ten minutes after you posted this, the skies opened up (and God said I hate you alfalfa - sorry, I couldn't resist) and we had the worst rain/storm I have ever seen here at LU. Trees down, and flooding. Pretty intense. Not going to lie, I was a little worried about all the glass on the back side of the building.
Lol, I like the Little Rascals quote. I say that to my wife all the time when something goes wrong and she just looks at me like I'm an idiot (can't really blame her). Either way, hope everyone was safe and for the sake of the thread I hope the stadium is safe too. We had a tornado knock down a quarter of the trees in the town that I live in a few months ago and I didn't find out how bad it was until the next morning when there were hundreds of people with chainsaws in their yards on my way to work. Ironically I have hundreds of dead trees in my yard I was hoping would fall, but only 1 did.

Thinking of retired jerseys, are we going to replace the ones we took down from the old press box and put them on the new press box?

I finished my run just BEFORE the rain storm. We sat on my tailgate up at Snowflex and just watched the storm coming in. Of course, I got caught in it driving home, but didn't get that wet going from my truck to the Cider Plantation.

From what I have heard, the jerseys will hang on the top level on the left side.

The field last night was probably 2x as bad as it was at JMU. Looks like the new "drains" are working well.

Well good. Thank God the field will drain in 24 hours.

Top level? Like the 5th floor? It seems like if they were there they’d block some of the view from the AD’s suite.

Judging by the Branch cam it seems it dried up much quicker than 24 hours. Still, this has gotta be a major concern for the drainage engineer (if they have something like that).

Don't blink - Imagine 40 years from now playing ND at Williams in front of 70k+. Matthew 5:16 is written on a plaque inside Hancock...at that point, I think we've made it! I hope I live to see the day when Liberty football wins a national title. A BCS national title. I believe it can happen and this new stadium is a step in that direction.

They'll hang on that 2ft 8 in. space underneath the window.
