After reading this guys answer to why he ranked JMU at 9, I wouldn't have any confidence in his rankings. He makes no sense at all.
wow...even with a win over VT we "haven't proven ourselves"...this is why the polls are often a huge joke

I don't thik there is an FCS team that Liberty should not beat. We could beat any of these teams at any time. JMU is no different, VT win or not. Now on the question of over/under rated, I think polls are always going to be flawed because of a few people who just want to be different or whatever. Who knows how many poll spots a win at VT or BSU should move you. Let's just say that by the time for this game LU and JMU with both be highly ranked. At that point we just have 2 very good teams with not a huge difference in the skill level between the 2. It will be an amazing game, but yes Coach Rocco has me believing and we will win.

I think could is a much better choice of words than should in this case. Are we pretty good, yes but we have to prove ourselves over a longer period of time before we say should. I would say a playoff win would be just a starting point. But I love your enthusiasm.

I personally think a win against a top #25 FBS team should move you up to #1 for at least a week, but maybe that's just me. Doesn't mean we don't have a chance of losing in 2 weeks, just, in this Dukes' opinion, not a very good one.

I wouldn't vote for us anywhere in the top 25, we don't deserve it. You have to win the games you are supposed to win.

Assuming we stay in the 25 this week, and I think we should, we have to win next week if we want to continue to be a ranked team. If we lose next week, we'll be out for a week or two.

I didn't think I could rank us, but once I got to the bottom of the 25, I realized "We have an FCS and an FBS win. We're better than (x team) that doesn't have any good wins."

I have us very close to the bottom, right next to UNH, who is in a similar boat to us.

Haley's is garbage. The NCAA uses regionalization. WIU and SEMO ST. is a bus trip, if neither is seeded, they'll play in the opening round. Same with Colgate and RMU, they'd likely play first round if one is fit to host (probably Colgate with their 10k capacity). Or UMass would host one of them.

In his scenario, we'd likely play Wofford or Chattanooga.
