I'll be surprised if JMU is not #1. Jacksonville State is the only other team with a resume even close. I have a hard time having Appy #1 after they had to escape Chatty with a huge rally.

Jacksonville State also required a 4th quarter comeback to beat Chattanooga. The App St game was played in Chatty, but Jacksonville State played at home. The Ole Miss victory carries a lot of weight though.

the fbs polls came out today. fcs polls don't come out until tomorrow.

JMU got votes in the FBS AP poll, none in the coaches poll

The Coaches Poll is limited to FBS members only. The AP added the FCS option after Appy's win over Michigan a few years ago.
